Andy Bauer is an acclaimed international Drummer, Producer and Composer based in NYC. Known for balancing explosiveness and sensitivity in his performances, he bridges the gap between vintage and modern.

Andy grew up playing jazz, later bringing these experiences with him when venturing out to other genres. A life-long student of drumming, genre code switching has been at the crux of his musical adaptiveness. He enjoys staying in touch with his musical roots while working with a mix of up-and-coming soul, indie, and pop artists. 

As a producer and composer, Bauer explores diverse realms, pushing the boundaries of what audio and music can be. Through Andy’s art forms his intention is to support cohesion of society, and to communicate stories and emotion which transcend language, culture, and background. We hear this in his productions, soundtracks, and also in his live meditative drum-only sound experiences.
