Drea The Vibe Dealer releases a new EP ‘Priestess of vibrations, pt 3’ on Rosebud Allday. The EP is available for purchase on Bandcamp. In Bauer’s own words: “This new EP is special for me in a few ways— starting with the fact that Drea The Vibe Dealer and I reconnected in Chicago while I was on tour, years after attending the same art high school in Milwaukee (shout-out to MHSA!) A week later both of us were in separate life-altering auto accidents, a week apart from each other. This particular project became a rehabilitation and personal growth opportunity for us both, working in small bursts & long breaks, only when Drea traveled to my Brooklyn recording studio between 2016 & 2020. This gave us the space to develop, reflect and choose which songs of hers to finish for the EP. My production approach is usually to assist an artist in presenting their voice, stories, and vision as clearly and authentically as possible. I feel we achieved these goals, and I’m very happy to share our work with you.“

“… the formula of intentionally blending post punk, jazz ,trip hop and existential lyrics and meditations on life and love” according to Drea, resulted in the EP’s three songs — ‘Moments,’ ‘Sacrifice,’ and ‘Save Me.’

“Andy is an accomplished drummer and composer/producer and served as a great co-pilot and teacher during the recording,mixing and mastering of these songs over the span of four years (2016-2020). The process would become the formula for Priestess of Vibrations pt two and other projects to follow. Combining scraps and ideas I (dtvd) collaged together and made bigger and more sonically complete with the help of a collaborator - producer or group of musicians.” - Drea The Vibe Dealer.
